One of our visitors sent us some photographs she took recently while visiting our trails.

Ginny writes:  “The raccoon cracked me up.  He saw us, posed for a few pictures, then decided to run up the back of the tree.  Ever so slowly, he peeked his head around to the side to see if I was still there and I got him.  I laughed out loud, it was the cutest thing ever.”

I think you’ll agree – her photos sum up the Dahlem experience pretty well.

The Dahlem Center is a non-profit nature center/environmental education center located on almost 300 acres just south of the city of Jackson, Michigan. The Center is one arm of the Dahlem Conservancy, which includes land conservancy and stewardship in its mission.
